Rebecca attended both Jellico High School in Jellico, Tennessee, and Whitley County High School in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She didn't surround herself with many people and owns up to being somewhat of a loner even then.

"I just wasn't into the whole social, school setting. I didn't fit in, and I honestly didn't want to fit in."
"I dropped out of high school pretty early. I had a real problem with authority and people telling me what to do."

On November 5, 1993, she married her best friend, Joe. Together, they built a life and a family, raising two sons: Brady, born in 1995, and Rondell, born in 1999.

While her days were devoted to the vital work of raising a family, the quiet hours of the night belonged to a different pursuit—one of relentless ambition and self-transformation. Behind the scenes, she was quietly forging an academic and professional foundation that few could rival, proving that her commitment to her craft was as profound as her dedication to her home.

She later gained her GED in 2015 and went on to successfully obtain a Creative Writing Degree from SNHU. Through late-night study and unwavering discipline, she earned 4 specialized certifications in creative writing from Gotham Writing Academy and completed the Level III 10-week Writers Workshop.

Additionally, Rebecca also completed all four of the Paranormal Courses & Qualifications at Paralearning.org.

"I wanted to write and be good at it; I wanted to fully understand what I was writing about. People said that I'd never do it, or that I couldn't do it, so I proved them all wrong."

Rebecca’s time with Montgomery Coleman Publishing was defined by a rigorous pursuit of craft mastery. During her tenure, she refined her expertise by earning several elite credentials that distinguish her as a true professional in the literary industry:

● Professional Fiction Editing Certification: Reflecting her deep understanding of the technical precision required to polish a manuscript for a global audience.

● Narrative Theory and Plot Construction Specialist: Demonstrating her ability to engineer the complex, "fear-shock" story arcs that have become her signature style
.
● Digital Publishing & Intellectual Property Management: Equipping her with the strategic knowledge to navigate the modern publishing landscape and manage her award-winning catalog.

These certifications represent a rare blend of creative brilliance and technical authority, ensuring that every word she writes is backed by a world-class education.

That's quite the eulogy!
