I am honored to use my platform for a greater purpose. A significant portion of my book sales is dedicated to supporting animal welfare and those in need. This is a commitment I have held from the beginning, and it is one I will maintain for the duration of my career.

When asked to whom I dedicate my success, three names stand above all others: my husband, Joe, and my two sons, Brady and Rondell. They are the only people who never faltered in their belief in me. They were the ones cheering me on and pushing me on those late nights when I thought I just couldn't do it anymore. When others doubted my path or claimed it was impossible, or that I wasn't capable, they were my unwavering support system. I worked tirelessly to reach this point, and they were the ones standing by me through every challenge.

The path of a professional writer is rarely an easy one. It is a demanding vocation that often brings significant physical and mental challenges—from the strain of long hours behind a screen and the physical toll of a sedentary craft to the deeper emotional weight of creative stress and isolation. I have personally navigated the exhaustion, the health challenges, and the periods of depression that can accompany this journey.

Beyond the physical impact, writing requires a profound investment of time, often drawing me away from the family moments I cherish most. I have experienced every facet of these hardships, yet they remain a part of the resilience required to bring meaningful stories to life.

Success is also a response to those who offered no support—those who chose to judge, misrepresent, or underestimate me. To those who labeled me for choosing to stay home and raise my children: your doubt only strengthened my resolve. To those who attempted to create obstacles for my family or spoke against us in the shadows: this achievement stands as a testament to our resilience. While you were in bed at night, dreaming of other ways to hurt me, I was awake, bettering myself, working to prove you wrong.

To my own mother, who never made my life easy. And to everyone else who talked, lied, cheated, gossiped, put down, shamed, and laughed. I've done this for every single one of you.

I want you to know that I am a best-selling author employed by a recognised publishing company. I have a good education. My books are available worldwide, and sit in many bookstores in the United States.....what have you done?

I  also want to acknowledge two vital new influences in my life: Molly and Mikki. In a very short time, you have taught me the importance of opening up, trusting others, and—most importantly—believing in myself. I am so grateful for your presence in my life. Your friendship and love are a part of me now, and I am honored that you share this journey with me.
